Hi Philippe,

are you sure you don't have 5.2.0 left somewhere in the classpath?

I just tried the following and it worked well:

1. Download the 5.3.0 web console war (http://repo2.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/activemq/activemq-web-console/5.3.0/activemq-web-console-5.3.0.war)
2. Copy it to clean jetty install webapps folder
3. Start secured ActiveMQ 5.3.0 (bin/activemq xbean:conf/activemq-security.xml)
4. start jetty (java -Dwebconsole.type=properties -Dwebconsole.jms.url=tcp://localhost:61616
-Dwebconsole.jmx.url=service:jmx:rmi:///jndi/rmi://localhost:1099/jmxrmi -Dwebconsole.jms.user=system
-Dwebconsole.jms.password=manager -jar start.jar)
5. use web console at http://localhost:8080/activemq-web-console-5.3.0/

Regards
Dejan
