Subject [jira] Resolved: (AMQ-1857) running activemq using maven causes NoClassDefFoundError: org/springframework/core/io/FileSystemResource

Gary Tully resolved AMQ-1857.
-----------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

I have made a further update to the doc to reflect the fact that optional dependencies need
to be explicitly added to the dependencies section of the plugin in the pom.xml.
The default broker url used in the plugin in the absence of an explicit configUrl does not
make use of Spring or camel or the jetty webConsole as they are optional.

> I tried to follow these instructions:
> Create pom with plugin definition:
> <build>
> <plugins>
> <plugin>
> <groupId>org.apache.activemq.tooling</groupId>
> <artifactId>maven-activemq-plugin</artifactId>
> <version>5.1.0</version>
> <configuration>
> <configUri>
> xbean:file:activemq.xml
> </configUri>
> <fork>false</fork>
> <systemProperties>
> <property>
> <name>
> org.apache.activemq.default.directory.prefix
> </name>
> <value>./target/</value>
> </property>
> </systemProperties>
> </configuration>
> </plugin>
> </plugins>
> </build>
> And when I call mvn activemq:run
> I get:
> [INFO] Scanning for projects...
