Timothy Bish commented on AMQ-1127:
-----------------------------------

There is an inherent issue in linking C++ libraries built using GNU's g++ to applications
built using the SUN CC compiler because the SUN compiler uses a different name mangling algorithm
than GNU. If you can get the AMQ-CPP library to build using the CC compiler then you should
be all set, otherwise it will not link with an app built with SUN CC compiler.

I haven't tried to build AMQ-CPP with CC so I don't know what issues you would run into.

> I try to linked ActiveMQ library in my project which is done with Sun WOrkshop 5.0 (CC
command).
> There'a a linking error with ActiveMQ. I think there's a problem in reading the library
of ActiveMQ because the library is compiled using g++, while my project is compiled using
CC.
> Is there a way we could integrate ActiveMQ with my project using CC command?
