Sounds good to me :). We've got the XML based one but by all means
write a simple text based one instead.

incidentally it might help to reduce the amount of code to reuse a
properties file? e.g.

queue://foo.bar = group1, group2

the left hand side can be turned into an ActiveMQ destination using
this helper method...
