Subject [jira] [Created] (APLO-301) Add a "ttl" header to control message expiration
Date Tue, 26 Feb 2013 02:18:13 GMT
José Micó created APLO-301:
------------------------------

Summary: Add a "ttl" header to control message expiration
                 Key: APLO-301
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/APLO-301
             Project: ActiveMQ Apollo
          Issue Type: Wish
          Components: apollo-stomp
    Affects Versions: wish-list
            Reporter: José Micó
            Priority: Minor

The "expires" header has not much meaning when there is no guarantee that the clocks of the
producer and the broker are synchronized.

It would be nice to have a "ttl" header which express the time to live in milliseconds.
The broker should handle it as "expires = now + ttl".
