Subject [jira] [Commented] (APLO-283) Selectors on message properties with a hyphen in the name don't work (anymore) with STOMP

Lionel Cons commented on APLO-283:
----------------------------------

Well, it used to work and STOMP does use several hyphen separated header names such as content-length
and content-type, not to mention user supplied headers that could, like in SMTP, contain similar
headers.

What about changing the parser so that "foo-bar > 2" is for the "foo-bar" header while
"foo - bar > 2" is for the two headers?

We could imagine other tricks (e.g. "{foo-bar} > 2") to be able to use these headers but
they look IMHO less elegant than the previous suggestion.

If you really want to be picky, you could introduce an option (like "convert_string_expressions"
in http://activemq.apache.org/selectors.html) to select which parser behavior to use.

> Selectors with a hyphen in the name used to work (see APLO-59) but, in recent snapshots,
they do not work anymore.
> It would be good to get this working again and add tests to make sure they continue to
work...
