Subject [jira] [Created] (APLO-209) The REST API documentation does not match what is used by the Apollo console
Date Tue, 29 May 2012 11:26:22 GMT
Lionel Cons created APLO-209:
--------------------------------

             Summary: The REST API documentation does not match what is used by the Apollo
console
                 Key: APLO-209
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/APLO-209
             Project: ActiveMQ Apollo
          Issue Type: Bug
         Environment: apollo-99-trunk-20120519.032132-42
            Reporter: Lionel Cons

When using the Apollo console and looking at a queue, one can see a "delete" button.

The HTML code behind the button is:

<form method="post" action="https://broker:6100/broker/virtual-hosts/apollo/queues/foo/action/delete">
  <input type="submit" value="delete"/>
</form>

However, this API call does not appear in the "Apollo Management API" where only the DELETE
method is documented to delete a queue.

If the "POST xxx/action/delete" API is supported, it should be documented. The Apollo console
should only use supported API calls.
