Subject [jira] Commented: (ACE-69) Port WebUI to clean Maven build
Date Mon, 14 Dec 2009 15:40:18 GMT

Brian Topping commented on ACE-69:

Hi Toni, the problem with not using 'war' packaging for a webapp is some IDEs have a hard
time interpreting how to structure them for embedded deployment and debugging. I use IntelliJ,
not Eclipse, so things could be different here.

As for the resources, the contents of src/main/webapp are copied just like resources to the
same destination. But not using it is very difficult with IntelliJ.

I'm going to take a look at it today to see if there's a way to address both goals, after
all the only thing we need to do is to get the war to mirror the reference war, right?

and additional proper packaging.
