Subject [jira] [Created] (ACE-329) Refactor the deployment repository to use reverse delta's for versions
Date Mon, 28 Jan 2013 16:07:13 GMT
Marcel Offermans created ACE-329:
------------------------------------

Summary: Refactor the deployment repository to use reverse delta's for versions
                 Key: ACE-329
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACE-329
             Project: ACE
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Deployment
            Reporter: Marcel Offermans

The deployment repository now stores a full list of artifacts for each version of a target.
A lot of the times, two versions will only be partially different, so it makes sense to store
changes as deltas instead, or actually, as reverse deltas, starting with a full list of the
latest version, and computing deltas from there. This will probably reduce the repository
significantly.
