Christopher Tubbs resolved ACCUMULO-3817.
-----------------------------------------
    Resolution: Invalid

Much work has been done since this issue was created to improve the metrics, especially those
reported by the master. If there is still more work to do here, please open a new issue or

> I've been taking a look at the hadoop metrics2 metrics Accumulo is providing and trying
to make interesting graphs out of them. Most of the tserver metrics are provided as avg/min/max/counts,
which might be okay for heatmaps, but aren't good for aggregating over to provide a graph
for an entire instance. Also, most of the metrics we're using to display useful information
on the monitor page don't appear in the metrics2 collection. The master doesn't have any
metrics at all beyond thrift and replication.
