Didn't we have some JUnit category for the "potentially useful if looking for performance
issues"? Maybe [~ctubbsii] and I just talked hypothetically about that?

bq. I could see the "tablet assignment" thread pool corePoolSize change from 1 -> 20 but
the poolSize remains 1 for the entire test. I think this test should just be removed. 

As you've described it, [~milleruntime], I'd agree with your assessment to remove it. I believe
I had excluded it from $dayjob tests as it was more pain than it was worth.
