Do we actually need a personality per branch? I've been updating the HBase personality with
the assumption that we wouldn't over there, and I think [~aw] has been doing the same for
Hadoop.

On the matter of jdk versions changing per branch, there's YETUS-369. HBase is waiting for
that change, but Allen has a workaround documented there now that Hadoop uses.
