I can't see any downside to doing this for 1.8. We're already likely diverging from the version
shipping with zookeeper, and that's really the only compatibility issue I can imagine with
this. I'm going to go ahead and bump to 2.14.2 in 1.8 branch. I'll hold off on 3.0.0.M1, because
I'm not sure what side-effects that might introduce.
