Subject [jira] [Commented] (ACCUMULO-4181) Log spam regarding swappiness
Date Thu, 07 Apr 2016 16:41:25 GMT

Michiel Vanderlee commented on ACCUMULO-4181:

I can take a look for a patch.

I just noticed that I had 10 log files and 10 debug files of each 1GB all with a timestamp
from within the last hour... and I just realized that that was probably from rollup renaming
and not created timestamp. My bad.

And I do understand the importance yes. But I wanted to look at the logs because the monitor
kills my vms with high cpu usage, and all I saw was this message over and over.

than ten (30) which can cause time-sensitive operations to be delayed. Accumulo is time sensitive
because it needs to maintain distributed lock agreement.."
> If I see this once during startup is enough, I don't need it to fill 10 log files of
a 1GB each within an hour.
