Subject [jira] [Commented] (ACCUMULO-4111) Float Lexicoder
Date Tue, 19 Jan 2016 21:31:39 GMT

Josh Elser commented on ACCUMULO-4111:

bq. Was this the best way to deal with this process? If there is another way that is easier
for you guys I'm happy to follow it next time.

Only thing I noticed was that you should feel free to leave "old" patches attached to the
JIRA issue. The numbering scheme you were doing is recommended and can be helpful to go back
and review old changes (in the face of heated discussion).

You're also welcome to use pull requests on Github. We don't care too much either way.

Thanks, again, for your contribution :)

> There are Integer, Long, and BigInteger lexicoders. However there is only a Double lexicoder
for floating point numbers.
> While we can just use the double one and take up some extra space this feels a little
wasteful and miss matched.
