James Mello commented on ACCUMULO-3946:
---------------------------------------

Just out of curiosity, I'll do the audit events the way the are suggested. May I add some
debug instrumentation that will help us out for our requirements too? Or should I open a separate
ticket for that?

I just want to insert a debug log statement at the beginning of the fate operation such as:

log.debug(String.format("Creating table %s for user %s", c.getPrincipal(), tableName);

It won't affect the AUDIT level, but should provide the info we need to meet what our IA team
is calling audit.

Sorry this is taking so long to tease out.

> Currently accumulo does not log all the major events such as table creation and permissions
changes. Please modify the existing logging to include missing auditing. Note this is related
to ticket ACCUMUO-3939.
