Subject [jira] [Commented] (ACCUMULO-3925) Remove unnecessary warning messages from FATE ops
Date Mon, 29 Jun 2015 18:23:10 GMT

Keith Turner commented on ACCUMULO-3925:

I think there are lots of places in the FateOps that throw ThriftTableOperationException (henceforth
TTOE). But only a few were ignored. Did you go look at all of the TTOEs and only decide
on those? I ask because another strategy could be to supply FATE a list of Exeception types
not to warn on. For example ask thrift to never warn on a TTOE. This is not as clean as
letting the FateOp decide.

They are perfectly normal and expected. We should not be putting a warning to the monitor
for this messages. The exception thrown back to the client is sufficient.
