Subject [jira] [Created] (ACCUMULO-3915) BulkIT doesn't actually bulk import the file with one entry
Date Wed, 24 Jun 2015 00:22:42 GMT
Josh Elser created ACCUMULO-3915:
------------------------------------

             Summary: BulkIT doesn't actually bulk import the file with one entry
                 Key: ACCUMULO-3915
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-3915
             Project: Accumulo
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: test
            Reporter: Josh Elser
            Assignee: Josh Elser
             Fix For: 1.7.1, 1.8.0, 1.6.4

Noticed a failure rerunning some ITs against a real cluster complaining that a file already
existed. This shouldn't have happened because we delete the directory before we remake the
files.

{code}
    for (int i = 0; i < COUNT; i++) {
      opts.outputFile = new Path(files, String.format(fileFormat, i)).toString();
      opts.startRow = N * i;
      TestIngest.ingest(c, fs, opts, BWOPTS);
    }
    opts.outputFile = base + String.format(fileFormat, N);
    opts.startRow = N;
    opts.rows = 1;
    // create an rfile with one entry, there was a bug with this:
    TestIngest.ingest(c, fs, opts, BWOPTS);
{code}

Turns out that special file with one entry (which we had a bug with) isn't put into the directory
or files we import. Oops.
