-----------------------------------------

Chritopher, I was thinking about tight integration of Lucene with Accumulo. So that lucene
can read and write to and from accumulo tables. I jsut want to use Lucene capabilities in
Accumulo So that the over all system would be fast and scalable and does not limited by Lucene.

Taking it as an example seems like you are using lucene independently to store index and Accumulo
to store Documents. Is it the case?

> Lucene stores its data in key-value pairs and Accumulo too. But Accumulo do provide search
capabilities like Lucene. Both are written in Java, can we have a system, which is combination
of the capabilities of both Accumulo and Lucene so that data can be searched by lucene API
which is actually stored in Accumulo as key value.
> Can we use Lucene API to store and search data in Accumulo? Is anyone working on this
or would like to through some light on the procedure and amount of work needed to do this?
