Keith Turner commented on ACCUMULO-3643:
----------------------------------------

I think avoiding up to rank 9 in a Accumulo code is a good goal. The following is from [findbugs
documentation|http://findbugs.sourceforge.net/findbugs2.html]. So we would avoid scariest
and scary by bumping up to 9.

{noformat}
bugs are given a rank 1-20, and grouped into the categories scariest (rank 1-4), scary (rank
5-9), troubling (rank 10-14), and of concern (rank 15-20)
{noformat}

> In version 1.6.0, we automated checking for bugs using findbugs with a maxRank of 6.
I'd like to catch even more bugs by bumping the maxRank to at least 9.
