Subject [jira] [Commented] (ACCUMULO-3430) Append authorization option to setauths command
Date Wed, 17 Dec 2014 15:47:13 GMT

Josh Elser commented on ACCUMULO-3430:

At first glance, I'm not overly concerned with the above race condition since there's nothing
in place that ensures concurrent use of {{setauths}} as it currently exists to be safe either.

existing authorizations. {{setauths}} only accepts a the full list of authorizations which
a user can have.
> Implementing an append option to {{setauths}} would be trivial; however, it would be
subject to a race condition (the user's authorizations change after the auths are fetched,
but before the new auths are set).
