Josh Elser edited comment on ACCUMULO-3130 at 9/16/14 5:17 AM:
---------------------------------------------------------------

CyclicReplicationIT also is affected, but in a slightly different manner. Because it makes
two MAC instances on its own (instead of the one created by ConfigurableMacIT), it doesn't
adhere to the SSL option at all. Will open a new issue for that specifically, and leave this
to track MultiInstanceReplicationIT and UnorderedWorkAssignerReplicationIT, specifically.

> Noticing that some of the Replication ITs will fail when SSL is turned on ({{-DuseSslForIT=true}}).
> Digging into to the failures, most of them are failing because the Master on the peer
(the destination for replication) gets an OOME and the Master then never responds to the primary's
RPCs to replicate data. Eventually, the JUnit timeout kicks in and the test fails.
