Subject [jira] [Commented] (ACCUMULO-3060) Remove Experimental annotations from monitor SSL keystore/truststore
Date Tue, 12 Aug 2014 19:11:16 GMT

Christopher Tubbs commented on ACCUMULO-3060:

The context of @Experimental was just that we needed some way to hide properties that were
related to not-fully-tested or not-fully-complete features that made it in. I don't think
we ever previously discussed deprecation strategies/requirements for them, but I do think
what was there was expected to work (but may not work as expected).

Personally, I'd like to get to the point where we don't have @Experimental anywhere in our
code, and only have feature-complete, ready-for-users code.

For the limited scope of this issue, I think the ssl support in the monitor is complete enough
to remove the annotations (+1). I don't feel strongly about deprecating/renaming the properties
at this time, though.

and {{monitor.ssl.trustStorePassword}} are marked as Experimental.
> They're not experimental. They work just fine. Remove the annotations.
