Eric Newton commented on ACCUMULO-3056:
---------------------------------------

I believe I made the changes. When I translated all the old python-based functional tests
to integration tests, I needed a way to kill individual processes and the ability to get back
to the normal running system. So, I made it possible to call start multiple times, and it
would start any missing processes.

> In 1.5, multiple calls to MiniAccumuloCluster.start() result in an IllegalStateException.
> In 1.6, while still advertised, the Exception was removed.
> In both versions, multiple calls to stop() pass gracefully.
> What exactly do we want: exceptions when trying to re-enter the state which we are already
in, or not?
