Could have a performance test that wrote random rows w/ multiple columns. Accumulo needs to formalize something for performance test. It would be nice to have a suite of performance test that could be run for a release that measure different aspects. This could produce data that could be compared to data from runnning the suite on pervious releases. The performance tests written ACCUMULO-2827 and the little test I wrote for ACCUMULO-2766 called [mutslam|https://github.com/keith-turner/mutslam] have no place to live in Accumulo. I think there may be other performance test attached to issues. > Modify ContinuousIngest to allow multiple columns per row > --------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: ACCUMULO-2933 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-2933 > Project: Accumulo > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: test > Reporter: Mike Drob > > Not sure what this would necessarily look like, but It might be good to allow continuous ingest to write multiple columns to the same row. The number of columns would, ideally, be configurable. > This was inspired by the discussion around ACCUMULO-2827. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.2#6252)
