Subject [jira] [Created] (ACCUMULO-2880) deleting a table with in memory entries forces a flush
Date Mon, 09 Jun 2014 20:13:01 GMT
Mike Drob created ACCUMULO-2880:
-----------------------------------

Summary: deleting a table with in memory entries forces a flush
                 Key: ACCUMULO-2880
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-2880
             Project: Accumulo
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: tserver
    Affects Versions: 1.6.0
            Reporter: Mike Drob

Deleting a table with in-memory entries will cause tablets to be unassigned, which will cause
data to attempt a flush. If there is some HDFS issue, then this will block, waiting for HDFS
to be available again, and the table will be unable to be deleted gracefully.
