Subject [jira] [Resolved] (ACCUMULO-2880) deleting a table with in memory entries forces a flush

Eric Newton resolved ACCUMULO-2880.
-----------------------------------

    Resolution: Cannot Reproduce
      Assignee: Eric Newton

Deletion of a table could cause many updates to the metadata table, which will be flushed
by the accumulo file collector. This would give the illusion of many flushes during table
deletion on systems where the metadata table is spread out over many tservers.

> Deleting a table with in-memory entries will cause tablets to be unassigned, which will
cause data to attempt a flush. If there is some HDFS issue, then this will block, waiting
for HDFS to be available again, and the table will be unable to be deleted gracefully.
