In {{TraceProxy.trace}} there is the following code snippet:
{code}
        try {
          return method.invoke(instance, args);
        } catch (Throwable ex) {
          ex.printStackTrace();
          throw ex;
        }
{code}
When this is an InvocationTargetException, it can really mess with the calling code's exception handling logic.
