All I ever care about are the logs, so I'm thinking about cleaning everything else up after the test. Does that seem reasonable? Are there other subdirectories that should be nominated for saving? > MacTest should use target for MiniAccumuloCluster > ------------------------------------------------- > > Key: ACCUMULO-1599 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-1599 > Project: Accumulo > Issue Type: Improvement > Reporter: Christopher Tubbs > Fix For: 1.6.0 > > > Many integration tests tend to start up an instance of MiniAccumuloCluster. They use directories in /tmp and delete their folders when finished. This is difficult to debug. Instead of using random filenames, they should use the name of the test, and instead of writing to /tmp, they should write to ${project.build.directory} (aka "target/") and leave their directory in place when finished for easier debugging (they can be cleaned with 'mvn clean' and overwritten when the test re-runs). -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.1#6144)
