Subject [jira] [Created] (ACCUMULO-1780) Monitor "recent logs" page should sort by most recent events first
Date Wed, 16 Oct 2013 13:39:43 GMT
Mike Drob created ACCUMULO-1780:
-----------------------------------

Summary: Monitor "recent logs" page should sort by most recent events first
                 Key: ACCUMULO-1780
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-1780
             Project: Accumulo
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: monitor
            Reporter: Mike Drob
            Priority: Trivial

The recent logs page on the monitor has lots of sorting options, and the initial view is ascending
by time. This means that the oldest events are at the top and the newest events are at the
bottom. More often, I'm interested in the latest events and have to resort the page.

Does anybody have a compelling reason to preserve the old behavior? (Note the "proposal" tag
- this is mostly engendered by my own laziness, but I hold no strong opinions on this.)
