[~kturner], [~sapanbshah42], did you guys ever come up with any sort of design document? Looking
back at the last chatter, we were still in a localfs WAL capability which is a bit out of
date considering current Accumulo support :)

Given [~rmutyala]'s question on dev@a.a.o about this, any interest in thinking about this
as a major 1.7 feature? It will give something to think about while testing 1.6.0 :)
