Subject [jira] [Created] (ACCUMULO-1634) Confusing shutdown message via
Date Fri, 02 Aug 2013 18:33:49 GMT
Ben Popp created ACCUMULO-1634:

             Summary: Confusing shutdown message via
                 Key: ACCUMULO-1634
             Project: Accumulo
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 1.5.0, 1.4.3
            Reporter: Ben Popp
            Priority: Trivial

when using to shutdown unresponsive accumulo processes, the user gets this message

{code}Press Ctrl-C to cancel now, or force shutdown in 15 seconds{code}

As a user, I don't know whether this means that Ctrl-C will cancel the execution ''
and return the user to the terminal? or will it avoid waiting 15 seconds and execute the
kill immediately?
