Subject [jira] [Created] (ACCUMULO-1626) Mutation equals() method does not always work
Date Wed, 31 Jul 2013 15:45:49 GMT
Keith Turner created ACCUMULO-1626:
--------------------------------------

             Summary: Mutation equals() method does not always work
                 Key: ACCUMULO-1626
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-1626
             Project: Accumulo
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 1.5.0, 1.4.0
            Reporter: Keith Turner
             Fix For: 1.4.4, 1.5.1, 1.6.0

Mutations has a equals() method, but it only works if hashcode() is called first on the two
mutations. So equals() will work ok in hash sets and maps, but not when equals() is called
w/o calling hashcode().
