Christopher Tubbs commented on ACCUMULO-1378:
---------------------------------------------

I did create a MiniAccumuloInstance which extends ZooKeeperInstance, and takes a directory
and an instanceName in its constructor, so it can connect to an existing instance. However,
I think this should be cleaned up, so the instanceName is written out to a file (along with
other config), so only the directory is needed. I didn't do any work to detach a running MAC,
though, just the easy work to connect to it if it happens to be running.

> Currently, the MiniAccumuloCluster assumes it should always create the directory structure
and throws an exception if the passed in directory has anything in it.
