John Vines commented on ACCUMULO-1528:
--------------------------------------

I'm wondering if a more appropriate solution would be to making batch size fuzzy. Make it
a suggestion rather then a strict requirement. There have been a few situations I've encountered
with custom iterators where it would be SOOOOO much more convenient so emit a few extra keys
then to ensure the reseek initialized itself correctly.

> Scans will return multiple versions of the same key (down to identical timestamps, but
possibly with different values), non-deterministically. A source identity (eg. filename/timestamp)
could be used to order these consistently.
