Subject [jira] [Created] (ACCUMULO-1525) Add # as a no-op command at the shell
Date Thu, 20 Jun 2013 19:40:19 GMT
Jim Klucar created ACCUMULO-1525:
------------------------------------

Summary: Add # as a no-op command at the shell
                 Key: ACCUMULO-1525
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-1525
             Project: Accumulo
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: shell
    Affects Versions: 1.5.0
            Reporter: Jim Klucar
            Priority: Trivial
             Fix For: 1.5.1

files containing shell commands can be run from a terminal using:

${ACCUMULO_HOME}/bin/accumulo shell -f <file> -u <user> -p <password>

Adding # as a no-op command to the shell would allow people to put comments in the <file>s
used with this method.
