Christopher Tubbs commented on ACCUMULO-1506:
---------------------------------------------

I could try to automatically populate the general.maven.project.basedir property to the example
files as filtered resources. This will mean adding yet another profile to the POM, because
we don't want the absolute path of the developer's workspace to automatically be populated
in the final assembly. Though, I'd really hope these example files disappear by the next release,
in favor of the configurator (ACCUMULO-780). In any case, since ACCUMULO-1396 made this so
easy... I'm not sure this mucking about with filtered resources in the Maven build is worth
the effort.

> ACCUMULO-935 breaks the ability to run directly off of the class files. As a work around,
building and then running out of the assemble/target... directory works for the libraries.
Updating the example class paths to use the svn sourced class files should work to run against
those files instead of the now non-existant class files.
