Subject [jira] [Commented] (ACCUMULO-76) Convert old tests to randomwalk framework
Date Fri, 01 Mar 2013 14:25:12 GMT

Eric Newton commented on ACCUMULO-76:

Any test that does not require the killing of a process can be converted.

This is probably all of the simple tests, and almost none of the stress tests.

@vines is right: the test/system/test* need to go. They should be covered by unit, functional
or RW tests.

> We've had several different generations of testing practices, and they show through the
codebase. We should go about taking old tests and either scrapping them or converting them
to the randomwalk framework.
