Subject [jira] [Created] (ACCUMULO-887) sanity check configuration settings
Date Thu, 29 Nov 2012 19:10:59 GMT
Eric Newton created ACCUMULO-887:
------------------------------------

             Summary: sanity check configuration settings
                 Key: ACCUMULO-887
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-887
             Project: Accumulo
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Eric Newton
             Fix For: 1.5.0

I accidentally set the WAL max size to "4" instead of "4G".

This produced the following stack trace, and was pretty hard to track down. We should pay
more attention to sane settings for these values.
