Subject [ANNOUNCE] Apache Accumulo 1.7.0
Date Wed, 20 May 2015 04:21:01 GMT
The Apache Accumulo project is proud to announce its 1.7.0 release.

Apache Accumulo 1.7.0 is a significant release that includes many
important milestone features which expand the functionality of Accumulo.
These include features related to security, availability, and extensibility.

The Apache Accumulo sorted, distributed key/value store is a robust,
scalable, high performance data storage system that features cell-based
access control and customizable server-side processing. It is based on
Google's BigTable design and is built on top of Apache Hadoop, Apache
Zookeeper, and Apache Thrift.

The release artifacts are available at
http://accumulo.apache.org/downloads/ and the release notes, which cover
in detail the notable changes, are available at
http://accumulo.apache.org/release_notes/1.7.0.html.

Thanks.

- The Apache Accumulo Team
