Date Thu, 05 Jul 2012 20:58:33 GMT
John Vines created ACCUMULO-674:

Summary: Convert default log4j to use log4j date formatters
                 Key: ACCUMULO-674
             Project: Accumulo
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: scripts
    Affects Versions: 1.4.1
            Reporter: John Vines
            Assignee: John Vines
            Priority: Minor
             Fix For: 1.4.2

This is a small change. conversion
character d-
"For better results it is recommended to use the log4j date formatters. These can be specified
using one of the strings "ABSOLUTE", "DATE" and "ISO8601" for specifying AbsoluteTimeDateFormat,
DateTimeDateFormat and respectively ISO8601DateFormat. For example, %d{ISO8601} or %d{ABSOLUTE}.

So we should switch our date, as we could get better performance out of the logging.
