Mine is set to 60 days.

There is a setting in /etc/default/rcS

# delete files in /tmp during boot older than x days.
# '0' means always, -1 or 'infinite' disables the feature
TMPTIME=60

Yours may not be zero. Check yours. If it aligns with the date range
you suggested, below, then Jim probably had the answer, but with
different periodicity.
