Date Fri, 18 May 2012 20:41:06 GMT
Eric Newton created ACCUMULO-598:
------------------------------------

Summary: write-ahead logs can leak until loggers are deleted
                 Key: ACCUMULO-598
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-598
             Project: Accumulo
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: logger
    Affects Versions: 1.3.6, 1.4.0
            Reporter: Eric Newton

If a tablet server doesn't close a log (because it crashed), the logger thinks it is open.
If no recover is necessary, the log will not be closed until the logger is restarted.
