> The current documentation instructs users to do a mvn assembly:assembly for building
the project. assembly:assembly is deprecated in maven and ends up requiring other accumulo
pieces to be installed in the local maven repo for it to work, or for mvn package to be run
first. We either need to fix the pom file for assembly:assembly to work properly or, preferably,
update the documentation to the prefered maven action, posibly mvn assembly:single
> EDIT: We have updated the documentation to specify mvn clean package & mvn assembly:single
. This is a hacky solution, but better than what we had for before. Due to the complexity
of the true fix, I'm marking it resolved for 1.3 and 1.4. I plan on making the more thorough
fix in 1.5. That is, the fix which creates a new maven subproject.
