ant elder commented on ABDERA-437:

Abdera is in maintenance mode, there's not much active development going on but reported bugs
do get fixed. I suppose we could/should do another release to catch up with the bugs that
have been fixed in the trunk code, thats not happened mainly as users haven't been pushing
for it - is a release important for you?
How important is the httpclient upgrade to you - if we did a new Abdera release must it also
have that httpclient version update?

> Abdera 1.1.3 was released on year of 2012, is it being maintained now? any plan for 1.2?
> Abdera 1.1.3 uses commons-httpclient-3.1.jar in released package, but seems commons-httpclient
is replaced by Apache HttpComponents(http://hc.apache.org/httpclient-legacy/index.html), does
this mean we should drop commons-httpclient as client in future? Will latest version of HttpComponents
be included in Abdera 1.2?
